Dominykas Sidorovas (b. 1993) is a painter who, through everyday objects, reveals ambiguous images of the environment, balancing between reality and fiction while imbuing objects with additional meanings. He explores the effects of defamiliarisation and shifts in the image – from representation to abstraction, from one object to another. His practice involves redrawing, deconstructing, and deforming objects, transforming them into visual symbols.
