Sigita Ūla Gečaitė (b. 1969) is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice draws on principles and processes found in nature. Her minimalist, multi-layered works convey experiences of overlapping temporalities and natural transformation, blurring boundaries between the visible and invisible, the perceived and the unknown. She combines intuitive, unpredictable sensations with the construction of ritual-like structures, while exploring how light generates colour. Her works create sensory, meditative experiences, evoking lightness, silence, and weightlessness.
